The Gospel According to Bj.

In the Beginning

God spent almost an eternity alone, in the dark, with nowhere to go, nothing to do, no one to see nor talk to. He had no one to love nor love Him back. He had no one to share the joys of life with, no one to laugh with, no one to cry with. There was no other God. He was alone.

God existed in a world with no dimensions. It had no height, length, nor depth. Time did not exist as we know it because there was nothing to measure it by. Nothing ever happened. His world was a point. Not a point in something because there was nothing at that time. This point has no size just as the imaginary point that begins every line. This point has become known to us as the Universe.

To us the Universe is infinitely large. But to God it is His little home in the middle of nowhere. Nothing can exist outside of this Universe. By definition it is everything.

One day God decided to make a change. He decided to finally do something. You see God had never done anything before, unless you consider that His Spirit moved upon the face of the waters (outer space).

First Day

Genesis chapter 1 says:

     1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
     2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The word earth was used by Moses as he penned this scripture. It is clear to me that it does not mean this small planet we live on but rather it means the Universe. The Universe was without form (no shape, no size). It was void in that it had nothing in it; no planets, no asteroids, not one rock, pebble nor speck of dust. Darkness was upon the face of the deep (deep space). There were no stars yet; not one flicker of light.

     3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Everything went from black to white in a split second. God did a universal work. I do not think that it started in one spot and expanded. I think that light was everywhere in the Universe. There was not one spot that wasn't lit up.

     4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

First it was all black, then it was all white. It is all good, but now we need a bit of contrast. So God separated the light into pools of light which we might call galaxies. Now life gets more interesting, especially for God. I bet He was ecstatic. I know I would be if I were Him. This is the first thing we know of that God ever did. I bet He knew he could do it if He put His mind to it.

     5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Many people think this was a 24 hour day. That is OK. It would certainly be a greater miracle. However the 24 hour day comes from the rotation of the planet Earth around it's own axis. The Earth as a planet did not yet exist. Therefore the 24 hour theory does not hold up.

     2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Whether it took God 24 hours, one thousand years or one hundred million years, it is all the same to Him. He created time as a by-product of doing His first deed. And He is ageless and will live forever more. Either way God got a lot done on His first day of work.

Second Day

     6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
     7. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
     8. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Heaven was created on the second day. Waters here still means outer space. What exactly the firmament is made of I really don't know. I am sure I will know when I get there. Whether it is a physical place or just a spiritual plane, it really doesn't matter at this point. I know it will be wonderful. I look forward to retiring there one day. I hear there are vacancies there and job openings for true worshippers since Lucifer and 1/3 of all the angels got kicked out for
an attempted coup.

Third Day

     9. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
     10. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

I think all the planets and physical material was created on this 3rd day. Moses apparently knew nothing of other planets, so he could only speak of this planet. At the least we know that the Earth we live on was created on the 3rd day.

     11. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
     12. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
     13. And the evening and the morning were the third day.

On this same day we have vegetation. Most plants gain their energy from sun light. I also just recently found out that all matter is really made of coherent light. That is light that spins in such a way that it appears solid. Every atom gives off a certain frequency or resonance. This is due to the spinning coherent light.

Think about this: God created light (energy). Everything is made of this light. According to scientists energy can be converted to matter and matter can be converted to energy. Ref: http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/ask_astro/answers/970724a.html

You can see how it is all coming together.

Fourth Day

     14. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
     15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
     16. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
     17. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
     18. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
     19. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

OK I admit that this has me stumped, how vegetation was created on the 3rd day when the sun was not set in place until the 4th day. If God wants to do things backwards that is OK with me. I would not have done it that way. But then if I were God I wouldn't have saved a sinner such as me. I do find it interesting when I realize that Moses, who wrote Genesis, was educated in the best universities on Earth. Egypt had the greatest engineers and Moses was not stupid in any way. I believe that he would not have written the creation story backwards if he made it up. But Moses wrote as God inspired him to write. And since God is certainly the only one to ever create anything, He can do it any way He wants and it will work fine. As we see that it did.

Anyway the 3rd and 4th days is obviously the creation of our solar system.

Fifth Day

     20. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
     21. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
     22. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
     23. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Fish and birds were created on the 5th day. This could have evolved as the evolutionist claim. Since we can see that God made matter from energy (light), it is conceivable that He could have made animal life from an ameba which may have evolved from some plant life. Anyway that He did it is better than I could do, and is still a great miracle.

Sixth Day

     24. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
     25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
     26. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
     27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
     28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
     29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
     30. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
     31. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Here we have the creation of land animals and man. This seems to be consistent with the theory of evolution, at least to a certain extent. Man however appears to have been made a little different.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Notice that the design of man being formed out of dust was specifically stated and that God breathed into his nostrils. No other animal was that statement made. I do not believe that man evolved from ape. I am told that man is composed of the same 16 elements found in the Earth's crust. No other animal is found to have all 16. I have not yet been able to verify this. If any of you reading this know or can verify this, please email me about it.

Seventh Day

Genesis 2
     1. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
     2. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

God got a lot of work done that week. God seems to save the best for last. He made everything else to prepare a place to put man kind. I will talk more about how special man is to God in another page.
